My photography of ATP 2006 was licensed as promotional material for the festival.
Held at Pontins holiday camp in Camber Sands, East Sussex, England, All Tomorrow’s Parties was founded by Barry Hogan in 1999 as an alternative to larger, more corporate festivals like Reading. In 2006 it was still quite the small, intimate gathering, where I was privileged enough see TV on the Radio, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bat for Lashes (I still have that single Natasha Khan signed kicking around somewhere) and Devendra Banhart. I attended with a close knit set of friends, several of whom have gone on to become quite famous (like Frederick Macpherson who was once the bespeckled youth we all called Freddy). I shot strictly in Polaroid during the event and several were licensed to promote the festival in subsequent years.
