A one night exhibition I created and organised, featuring the work of over 50 artists from around the United Kingdom to a sold out crowd of over 500.
Wrong Love was hailed as an alternative Valentine’s Day event. Held at the highly respected A Foundation in Liverpool on February 13th 2010 (9PM – 3AM), the event featured custom installations, live painting, two bands, a solo musical act, improv performances, drag queens, audio & visual performances, a DJ, poetry reading, interactive installations, stand up comedy, sketch comedy, an open bar, and a giant, tongue in cheek disco-ball penis.
The event took three months of diligent preparation and needed the help of nearly 20 volunteers to keep the crowd in tow. It sold out within the first hour, with lines snaking around the block.
