This machine is a beast. Heavy and clunky, it's a workhorse that will do the job for years to come. When we first looked at it, we balked at the price. Then we watched our Newf boy begin to rot before our eyes. He'd go to bed wet and wake up wet. We did a quick calculus of the cost of vets and medication for skin issues, plus grooming and realized if this dog lives more than six months, the machine will pay for itself.
What we didn't count on is the convenience. Even when he hasn't been swimming or bathing, a nice blow out takes him to a much more pleasurable level as a fully flooded companion. It blows out dirt, dust, dander, small animals, dead fur, and the assorted sticks, pine cones, and everything else that sticks to him. I might consider the Circuiteer if we ever replace it, just for the streamlined machine.

This was my second K-9 III dryer but this particular one dries HOT! I bought one 8 yrs ago and loved it. That one had a round variable switch. This new has two toggle switches and runs extremely hot. The directions suggest you run both motors for longevity of motors. I ended up returning it to Cherrybrook and they charged shipping and restocking fee. Today I called the number on my old dryer.....they are only parts and service. They proceeded to tell me that I was sent a defective dryer and an older one. The new ones have the round variable switch. So be careful when ordering and make sure what kind of switch your getting!!!!!!!!
